Terms & Conditions – Laxmi Packers and Movers Bangalore

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Laxmi Packers and Movers Bangalore including local shifting, outstation relocation, vehicle transport and storage services. By booking our services, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

Payment Terms

1. 10% advance payment is required at the time of booking.
2. 85% of the total quotation amount must be paid at the time of loading.
3. The remaining 5% balance must be paid after unloading at the destination.
4. Payments can be made via cash, UPI, bank transfer or other approved digital payment methods.
5. Delivery completion confirmation will be issued only after full payment clearance.

General Conditions (Applicable to All Shifting Services)

1. Customers must keep cash, jewellery, documents and valuables in their personal custody.
2. Advance payment is non-refundable in case of cancellation.
3. If work is cancelled after packing or vehicle arrangement, 50% of the quotation amount will be charged.
4. Vehicle must be unloaded immediately upon arrival. Delay will attract halting charges of ₹2,500 per 12 hours.
5. Month-end charges apply between 25th and 5th of every month.
6. Any complaints or damages must be reported within 10 hours of job completion.
7. 18% GST is applicable as per government rules.

Packing Material Policy

1. Packing materials are collected after completion of shifting.
2. If customer wishes to retain carton boxes or plastic crates, a refundable security deposit applies:
   • ₹100 per carton box
   • ₹500 per plastic crate
   • Pickup charges: ₹500
3. Deposit is refundable if boxes are returned within 3 months at our office address.

Services Not Included

1. Electrical, plumbing or carpentry work (except cot dismantling and assembly).
2. Two-wheeler shifting is not included in local shifting (extra charges apply).
3. Union charges at destination are customer's responsibility.

Insurance Policy

1. Insurance is optional and provided only on customer's request.
2. Insurance charges are 3% of the declared goods value.
3. If insurance is not taken, goods are transported at owner's risk.
4. Glass items are not covered under insurance.
5. We assist only in policy processing. Claim settlement is between customer and insurance company.

Storage & Warehousing Terms

1. Storage charges must be paid before the 10th of every month.
2. Late payment penalty: ₹15 per day.
3. 15 days prior notice is required for termination of storage service.
4. Goods unpaid for 90 days may be auctioned after due notice.
5. Prohibited items: cash, jewellery, valuables, weapons, hazardous or illegal goods, perishable items and animals.
6. Storage goods must be insured by the customer.
7. Storage charges increase by 10% after 12 months.

Customer Responsibilities

1. Declare correct value and nature of goods.
2. Provide correct pickup and delivery address.
3. Ensure access for loading and unloading.
4. Inform any change in contact details.

Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to Bangalore jurisdiction only.
