4+ Weeks Before

• Make a room-by-room inventory of everything you own
• Get a free pre-move survey and a fixed written quote from Laxmi Packers
• Declutter — sell, donate or discard what you won’t move
• Confirm your moving date and set a budget
• Inform your landlord / society and collect deposits or NOCs

2 Weeks Before

• Confirm your booking and packing date with us
• Finish frozen and perishable food
• Cancel or transfer local services (milk, newspaper, maid, internet)
• Back up computer files; keep documents and valuables in one safe bag
• Start updating your address (bank, Aadhaar, gas, online deliveries)

Moving Week

• Keep cash, jewellery and key documents in your own custody
• Pack a “first-night” box (chargers, medicines, toiletries, snacks, clothes)
• Mark fragile and high-priority items clearly
• Defrost and dry the fridge 24 hours before
• Confirm lift / parking access at both homes

Moving Day

• Be present when the crew arrives and walk them through the home
• Check fragile items are wrapped and the inventory is noted
• Take final meter readings and do a last room check
• Keep your phone charged and our number handy for live tracking
• Re-confirm the delivery address and access with the team leader

After Moving In

• Check items against your inventory; report any issue within 24 hours
• Inspect electronics and fragile items before signing off
• Reassemble beds and furniture (our crew can help)
• Update your address on any remaining services and IDs
• Leave an honest review to help other families move with confidence
