Inspection and documentation
Before loading, the car is inspected and its condition photographed from all angles, with existing marks noted. This protects both you and the transporter.
Loading onto the carrier
- The car is driven slowly up ramps onto the carrier deck.
- It is positioned to balance the load and leave safe clearance.
- The handbrake is applied and the car put in gear/park.
Securing the vehicle
Wheels are secured with straps or chains at multiple points so the car cannot move during transit. Soft ties protect the suspension and body.
During transit
The carrier drives with the secured load, and on multi-car carriers each vehicle is independently strapped.
At delivery
The car is carefully unloaded and re-inspected against the pickup photos so you can confirm its condition.
