What you'll need
- The original TV box if you still have it (ideal)
- Bubble wrap and foam corner protectors
- A soft blanket or anti-static sheet for the screen
- A flat, TV-sized carton if the original box is gone
Step by step
- Unplug and photograph the cable connections so reassembly is easy
- Cover the screen with a soft cloth, then bubble wrap the whole unit
- Add foam corner protectors and place it in a snug box
- Always transport a flat-screen TV upright, never flat on its back
During transport
