Kitchen crockery and glassware break easily if packed in a hurry. With the right wrapping and cushioning, they travel safely even on long moves.
Wrap each piece
- Wrap every plate, bowl and glass individually in bubble wrap or packing paper.
- Stack plates on their edge (vertically) in the box, not flat - they resist pressure better that way.
- Stuff glasses and cups with crushed paper before wrapping.
Cushion the box
Line the bottom and top of the carton with a thick layer of crushed paper or bubble wrap. Fill every gap so items cannot move during transit.
Use dividers for glasses
Cell dividers (the cardboard grids) keep glasses and stemware separated and upright, dramatically reducing breakage.
Label fragile
Mark the box 'Fragile - This Side Up' on all sides and never stack heavy boxes on top of it.
Our team uses proper materials and dividers for fragile kitchen items. For safe packing, call Laxmi Packers and Movers on 98456 83236.
